Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Weekendar mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Weekendar LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").

2. Description of Service

Weekendar is a social coordination application that allows users to share their availability with friends, coordinate plans, RSVP to events, and facilitate real-world social connections. The App enables users to create availability slots, connect with friends via contact matching and friend requests, and receive notifications about friend activity and plans.

3. User Accounts

To use Weekendar, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email authentication. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Weekendar to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk invitations
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your identity
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
• Scrape, data mine, or use automated means to access the App

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms at our sole discretion.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Weekendar offers a premium membership subscription at $2.99 per month. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Payment is processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers

Free features of the App remain available without a subscription.

6. Intellectual Property

The Weekendar App, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by Weekendar LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App (such as availability data, event details, and messages). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to use this content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Weekendar service.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

We are not responsible for the actions, content, or conduct of other users. Any interactions or plans made through the App are solely between users, and we are not a party to any such arrangements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Weekendar LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through Profile > Settings > Delete Account within the App. Upon account deletion, we will permanently remove your data within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the State of Maine.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of Weekendar after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
