Weekendar ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Weekendar mobile application.
Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address, name, and authentication credentials (via Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email magic link) through our service provider, Supabase.
Social Data: We store your friend connections, availability slots you create, RSVPs to events, and coordination data you share with your network.
Device Information: We collect your device's push notification token (via Expo) to send you notifications about friend activities and event updates.
Contact Information: If you choose to invite friends via phone number or email, we temporarily process this information to send invitations. We do not store your contacts list.
Payment Information: If you subscribe to premium features, payment processing is handled by RevenueCat and Apple/Google. We do not store your credit card information.
We use your information to:
Your Friends: Your availability data is visible only to friends you've explicitly connected with via friend requests.
Service Providers: We use Supabase (database and authentication), Expo (push notifications), and RevenueCat (subscriptions). These providers are contractually required to protect your data.
No Data Sales: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. Your data is stored on secure servers operated by Supabase. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your profile, friend connections, availability slots, RSVPs, and all associated data within 30 days.
Access & Deletion: You can view your data in the app and delete your account (and all associated data) at any time via Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
California & EU Residents: You have additional rights under CCPA and GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact us at the email below to exercise these rights.
Opt-Out of Notifications: You can disable push notifications in your device settings or within the Weekendar app settings.
Weekendar is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of Weekendar after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
